Directions / Arrival 📍
We are located in the Montes de Málaga, about 50 minutes from Málaga city. The last stretch is winding and partly unpaved — take it easy and enjoy the scenery.
Please follow the pin points exactly. GPS addresses don't always work well in rural areas. We recommend downloading your route beforehand — mobile reception can be patchy in the mountains.
You can park on the property. Follow the signs when you arrive.
Here you've left the highway. You'll find a few shops for small groceries, including DIA and Carrefour Express (also open on Sundays & public holidays).
At this point, turn left and follow the 'Gallego Olivar' signs all the way to the property (approx. 15 minutes).
Welcome! You've arrived.
If there has been a lot of rain and you cannot cross the river, do not continue. Go back and take the other route starting from Pin 2 (Málaga Airport route).
Practical Info 🏠
Everything you need for a worry-free stay.
Save this page on your phone — super handy during your stay.
Please keep noise low after 22:00.
No smoking inside.
Please don't leave food outside (insects/animals).
If you use the outdoor kitchen by the pool, please leave everything clean and tidy afterwards.
Please switch off the air conditioning when you leave the studio. Energy is precious here — thank you for using it mindfully.
Our tap water comes from our own private well. It is not suitable for drinking. Showering and brushing your teeth with tap water is perfectly fine — no worries there!
🎁 Welcome water
We provide 1.5 litres of bottled water per person as a welcome gift upon arrival.
💡 Recommendation
We recommend bringing extra bottled water with you, especially if you arrive on a weekend or holiday when local shops may be closed. You can easily pick some up at the supermarket near the airport (see our Shops & Groceries section).
🙏 Water is a precious resource here. Please be mindful and try not to waste it.
No glass in the pool area.
Please take your rubbish with you and dispose of it in one of the large public waste containers you'll see along the road.

In small villages, many shops close for siesta between 14:00 and 16:00. Plan your shopping in the morning or late afternoon.
If you rent a car at the airport and want a bigger supermarket with more choice:
Please note siesta hours: 14:00–16:00.

It's smart to book in advance, especially on weekends. Most restaurants are small and fill up quickly.
Things to do / Day trips
From a city walk in Málaga to a day trip to Granada or Ronda. Here are our favourite places with clickable links.
Pick one thing per day. The rest: pool, book, siesta and sunset.
Feel free to ask us for our local hiking book with favourite routes. We love sharing our best picks.
Málaga City
Rent a bike and explore Málaga. A great route is cycling along the coast towards El Palo, stopping at a chiringuito.
Recyclo Bike Café — also nice for food and coffee. Prices usually 15 to 30 euro per day.
